Composite Fillings

These are our first choice, especially while repairing small cavities. Composite fillings are strong and with proper care they can last for many years.

How do I know If my child has cavities?

Tooth decay may appear as pain or sensitivity around the affected area, if your child is in pain this may be an alert of a cavity. When these symptoms appear, a cavity diagnosis by your child’s dentist is required.

How long do dental fillings last?

Our dental fillings will last about three to ten years or longer.

Can I be with my child during their appointment?

Of course! For most treatments, you can be present for the examination and treatment. You know your child best and will be able to help them feel most comfortable.

When is a dental filling recommended?

For very small cavities, we may simply recommend a wait-and-see approach. If the cavity is large and painful, or is located in a hard-to-reach area, a filling will be recommended.

Do dental fillings hurt?

Our team will ensure your child is comfortable during the entire procedure. We’ll administer numbing medication to ensure their comfort.
