Keep cavities at bay with our dental sealants
Our experienced pediatric dentists apply a clear sealant to the surfaces of your child’s teeth, effectively “sealing” the pits and grooves where bacteria and germs often accumulate. This protective layer helps to shield your child’s tooth enamel, preventing decay and promoting a healthy smile. Don’t wait until it’s too late – request an appointment today to get started!
Benefits of Dental Sealants
Avoid cavities and keep your child’s teeth healthy
Dental sealants are shown to significantly reduce the likelihood of cavities developing. They’re particularly beneficial for children as they’re developing their oral hygiene habits.
Long-Lasting Treatment
When practicing good oral hygiene, sealants can last up to 9 years, providing a powerful defense against decay.
Fast & Easy To Apply
The entire treatment takes around 1 minute to complete and is pain-free.
If your child’s pulp is damaged or exposed, it can cause severe pain and sensitivity as well as put them at risk of decay and infection. Pulp therapy can be used to treat the damage and restore the health of the affected tooth or teeth.
Are dental sealants covered by insurance?
While every insurance policy differs, most plans cover at least a portion of dental sealants in primary and immature permanent teeth.

Our dental sealant process
- We’ll perform a thorough exam and use imaging tools to check for any signs of decay in your child’s teeth.
- If we find any decay, we’ll remove it to ensure your kid’s teeth are healthy and strong.
- To prepare for the sealant application, we’ll apply a special solution to your child’s teeth to ensure the sealant properly adheres. This will help ensure that the sealants provide long-lasting protection for their teeth.
- Once the solution is in place, we’ll carefully paint the teeth with the sealant and use a curing light to dry and cure them.
The entire process is quick and easy, with minimal discomfort or downtime. You can rest assured that your child’s teeth are getting the protection they need to stay healthy and strong!
